T.W.G. (Tom) van der Meer (1980) studied Political Science and History (Leiden University), wrote his dissertation in (political) sociology (Radboud University Nijmegen, cum laude), and works as a full Professor, in particular Legitimacy, Inequality, and Citizenship, at the Department of Political Science of the University of Amsterdam.
